What Next For The Orphs?
22nd December 2015Well, it's all over. Three years in the making, Coastal Tones arrived at last in the Spring. And in my opinion it has been our most accomplished album yet; certainly the most universally appreciated. Mainstream success was always a bit of a long shot, and a dubious target in any case. But we'll happily take the critical acclaim and renewed cult following that has been generated. We've thoroughly enjoyed the chance to write, record, release, tour and promote a record once again, and want to thank everyone who has supported us with it this year, but in particular our managers Mike Concrete and Ronnie Lee; if only the music industry was full of people like these guys!
As for now, we need a rest from it all for a while. Living our double lives this year has been very demanding. But we're hoping to be back to play some shows in Summer 2016 and encourage any interested promoters to get in touch.
Happy Christmas from the orphs; and see you in the summer!
